This protein is one of the nuclear-coded polypeptide chains of cytochrome c oxidase, the terminal oxidase in mitochondrial electron transport.
Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions
ELISA (Peptide): 1:4000 Western Blot: 0.01-0.03ug/ml Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 2.5ug/ml. Steamed antigen retrieval with citrate buffer pH 6 is recommended. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

Synthetic peptide corresponding to C-QGLASKWDYEKNE at the C-terminal from human COX4I1.
