Gabexate Mesylate is a serine protease inhibitor. Gabexate Mesylate inhibits trypsin, plasmin, plasma kallikrein and thrombin. Gabexate Mesylate inhibits lipopolysaccharide-induced tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) production through nuclear factor-κB and activator protein-1 activation.
