FOXL2, Forkhead box protein L2

This gene encodes a forkhead transcription factor. The protein contains a fork-head DNA-binding domain and may play a role in ovarian development and function. Mutations in this gene are a cause of blepharophimosis syndrome and premature ovarian failure 3.

Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Indirect Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Western Blot: 1:1000 Indirect Flow Cytometry: 1:10-1:50 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide mapping to a fragment of residues within amino acids 3-29 in the N-terminal region of human FOXL2, UniProt Accession #P58012.
