PIWIL2 belongs to the Argonaute family of proteins, which function in development and maintenance of germline stem cells (Sasaki et al., 2003 [PubMed 12906857]).

ELISA: 1:1,000 Western Blot: 1:100-500

Storage and Stability

May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

Immunogen

PIWIL2 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 90-119 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human PIWIL2.
