TLL2, KIAA0932, Tolloid-like protein 2

This gene encodes an astacin-like zinc-dependent metalloprotease and is a subfamily member of the metzincin family. Unlike other family members, a similar protein in mice does not cleave procollagen C-propeptides or chordin.

Storage and Stability

May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

Immunogen

TLL2 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 305-336 amino acids from the Central region of human TLL2.

Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2, 0.09% sodium azide.

Purity

Purified by saturated ammonium sulfate precipitation followed by dialysis against PBS.
