Delta-like Protein 1, Delta 1

The Notch ligand delta-like protein 1 (DLL1) is essential for postnatal arteriogenesis and contributes to tumor progression. DLL1 is involved in differentiation and self-renewal of adipocyte stem cells. Blocks the differentiation of progenitor cells into the B cell lineage while promoting the emergence of a population of cells with the characteristics of a T cell/NK-cell precursor.

Recombinant protein corresponding to the signal peptide and extracellular domain of mouse DLL1 (aa1-545) fused at the C-terminus to the Fc portion of human IgG1, expressed in HEK293 cells. Swiss/UniProt Accession: Q61483
Biological Activity
Inhibits adipogenesis of 3T3L-1 cells. Induces Hes-1 in 3T3L-1 cells.
Specificity
Interacts with Notch receptors
Storage and Stability
Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
