AR, KD, AIS, TFM, DHTR, SBMA, NR3C4, SMAX1, HUMARA, androgen receptor (dihydrotestosterone receptor testicular feminization spinal and bulbar muscular atrophy Kennedy disease), dihydrotestosterone receptor, Dihydro Testosterone Receptor
Applications
Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Western Blot: 1-4ug/ml. In IGF-1 stimulated LNCaP cells (passage number 38), a ~110kD band was observed. Please see Lin et al. 2003 for additional details. The serine phosphorylation site recognized by this antibody has been alternatively referred to Ser213 and Ser210. Variations in notation can arise from how the sequence is counted in various GenBank accession numbers. The site is denoted as Ser213 in GenBank Accession No. A39248, which was used to design the immunogen. Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 1:10-1:500 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, 0.05% sodium azide.
Purity
Purified by Protein G affinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human androgen receptor phosphorylated at Ser213/210
