Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Immunofluorescence/Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Western Blot: 1:500 Immunoprecipitation: 1:10-1:500 Immunofluorescence (IC): 1:10-1:2000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 200-221 CNKNENMKRIFETDYVPHRLTS of Drosophilia melanogaster Baboon. The peptide was amidated for conjugation.

Supplied as a liquid, pH 7.4, BSA, glycerol, ethylene glycol. No preservative added.
Purity
Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes Baboon protein in Drosophila melanogaster extracts at ~73kD.
