Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.

ELISA: 1:200-1:5000 Western Blot: 1:200-1:5000 Immunohistochemistry: 1:500-1:5000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile dH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Biotin.

Supplied as a lyophilized powder in 10mM sodium phosphate, 0.15M sodium chloride, pH 7.2, 1% BSA (Protease and IgG free), 0.1% Kathon CG. Reconstitute with 1.1ml sterile dH2O. Labeled with Horseradish peroxidase (HRP).

Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.

Recognizes free Biotin and Biotin coupled to BSA or KLH. Two predominant bands are seen at 50 and 24kD in SDS-PAGE. Does not react with free BSA or free KLH.
