Applications

Suitable for use in ELISA and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution

Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 10ug/ml using heat mediated antigen retrieval (sodium citrate); mAb incubation 1 hour/RT; detection DAB. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability

May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

Immunogen

Immunoprecipitate obtained after immunodiffusion of MAb 19-9 and mucins isolated from an ovarian cyst of a 0Le(a+b-) patient.

Form

Supplied as a liquid in TBS, pH 8.0, 15mM sodium azide.

Purity

Purified precipitation methods and size-exclusion chromatography.

Specificity

Recognizes human CA19-9 cancer antigen.
