When used in conjunction with Echovirus 30, E0258-04 can be used to identify Echovirus 4. Isolates positive with E0258-04 should be tested with Echovirus 30 to verify its proper identification. If the isolate is positive with Echovirus 30 or both Echovirus 30 and Echovirus 4 then the isolate can be presumptively identified as Echovirus 30. If the isolate is only positive with Echovirus 4 then the isolate can be presumptively identified as Echovirus 4.

Applications
Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Indirect Immunofluorescence: 1:1000. Dilute with buffer pH 7.8 containing protein or other stabilizing medium. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
