Frizzled-4 belongs to the Frizzled family of 7-pass transmembrane proteins and binds to Wnt-8. It is implicated in several developmental processes, notably in retinal angiogenesis.
Applications
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Flow Cytometry: 0.25ug labels 10e6 cells using HEK293 human embryonic kidney cell line Immunocytochemistry: 8-25ug/ml using immersion fixed HEK293 human embryonic kidney cell line Western Blot: 1ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Recombinant protein corresponding to Met1-Glu180 from mouse Frizzled-4 expressed in NS0 cells.

Supplied as a lyophilized powder in PBS, pH 7.2, 0.5% BSA. Labeled with Biotin. Reconstitute with 1ml sterile PBS.

Specificity
Recognizes mouse Frizzled-4. Does not crossreact with recombinant mouse Frizzled-1, -2, -3, -6, -7 or -8 in Western Blot. Detects Frizzled-4 by Flow Cytometry and Immunohistochemistry on mouse differentiated embryoid bodies derived from the mouse embryonic cell line, D3, and also on human HEK293 cells.
