Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.

Immunohistochemistry (frozen): 1:400-1:800 Optimal dilution determined by the researcher.

Stefanini-fixed frozen sections of rat small intestine (1% carbodiimide added to the fixative).

Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Synthetic lizard helospectin I

Supplied as a lyophilized powder. Reconstitute with 100ul sterile ddH2O.

Serum

Recognizes helospectrin. Absorption with 10-100ug helospectin per ml diluted antiserum abolishes the staining, while secretin, PHI and PACAP do not. Crossreacts with helodermin. Species Crossreactivity: Rat, mouse, feline and canine.
