Applications
Suitable for Immunoblot (Western or Dot Blot), ELISA,Iimmunoperoxidase Electron Microscopy and Immunohistochemisty. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
ELISA: 1:1000 to 1:5000 1ug of Lactate Dehydrogenase was used in a standard capture ELISA with ABTS (2,2'-azino-bis-[3-ethylbenthiazoline-6-sulfonic acid]) A0030 as a substrate for 30 minutes at RT. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Note: Sodium azide is a potent inhibitor of peroxidase and should not be added to HRP conjugates. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Lactate Dehydrogenase [Rabbit Muscle]
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2, 10mg/ml BSA (IgG and protease free), 0.01% gentamicin slulfate. Labeled with horseradish peroxidase (HRP).
Purity
Purified by ion exchange chromatography.
Specificity
Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-peroxidase, anti goat serum as well as purified and partially purified lactate dehydrogenase (rabbit muscle).
