Suspend 19.47g in 900 ml of distilled water. Add 5ml of glycerol. Boil to dissolve the medium completely. Distribute in180 ml amounts in erlenmeyer flasks and sterilize by autoclaving at 15 lbs. pressure (121°C) for 10 minutes. Cool to 45°C and aseptically add 100 ml of Middlebrook OADC Growth Supplement. Mix well and pour into screw capped tubes.

Store powdered media at RT. Stable for 12 months after receipt. Opened bottles should be capped tightly and kept in a dark, low humidity environment. Prepared media should be kept refrigerated protected from light, and used within a short period of time.
