NDRG1 (N-myc downstream-regulated gene 1), also termed Cap43, Drg1, RTP/rit42, and Proxy-1, is a member of the NDRG1 family comprised of four members (NDRG1-4) that function in growth, differentiation and cell survival. NDRG1 is ubiquitously expressed and highly responsive to a variety of stress signals including DNA damage, hypoxia and elevated levels of nickel and calcium.

Applications
Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence/Immunocytochemistry, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry . Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions
Immunofluorescence (IC): 1:800 Flow Cytometry: 1:200 Western Blot: 1:1000 Incubate membrane with diluted antibody in 5% nonfat dry milk, 1X TBS, 0.1% Tween-20 at 4°C with gentle shaking, overnight. Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 1:500. Requires HIER using sodium citrate buffer pH 6.0 prior to staining. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Synthetic phosphopeptide corresponding to residues surrounding Thr346 of mouse NDRG1.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in 10mM sodium HEPES, pH 7.5, 150mM sodium chloride, 0.1mg/ml BSA, <0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol.
Purity
Purified.
Specificity
Recognizes mouse NDRG1, phosphorylated at Thr346. |Crossreactivity: May cross-reacts with other conserved phosporylation sites on NDRG1 at positions Thr356 and Thr366.|Species Crossreactivity: human, monkey and rat.
