Transcription factor that binds to the octamer motif (5'-ATTTGCAT-3'). Thought to be involved in early embryogenesis and neurogenesis.

Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
ELISA: 1:2000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide corresponding to C-GHPPMDDVYAPGE, from POU3F1, at the internal region of the protein (NP_002690.3).

Supplied as a liquid in Tris saline, 0.02% sodium azide, pH 7.3, 0.5% BSA.
Purity
Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes POU3F1. Species sequence homology: Canine, human, mouse and rat.
