Membrane associated progesterone receptor component 2 (PGRMC2) belongs to the cytochrome b5 family. The molecular function is primarily steroid binding.

Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
ELISA: 1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide corresponding to C-DEEDTKDHNKQD, from PGRMC2, at C-terminal (NP_006311.2).

Supplied as a liquid in Tris saline, 0.02% sodium azide, pH 7.3, 0.5% BSA.
Purity
Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes PGRMC2. Species sequence homology: Bovine, canine, human, mouse, porcine and rat.
