Pseudomonas Isolation Broth is a modification of a formula described by King et al. Pseudomonas Isolation Broth was found useful in the isolation of Pseudomonas from pharmaceutical preparations (lotions and creams). The incorporation of lrgasan (R) inhibits most bacteria but allows the growth of Pseudomonas. The formulation also enhances pyocyanin production.
