The thyrotrophin receptor is an important molecule in controlling the growth and function of the normal thyroid.

Applications
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry, Immunoprecipitation and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilutions
Flow Cytometry: 1:100-1:1000. Use 10ul to label 10e6 cells in 100ul. Western Blot: 1:1000 Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 1:1000-1:2000. Does not require protein digestion pretreatment of paraffin sections. Does not require antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining paraffin sections. Immunohistochemistry: frozen sections Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Hybridoma
Spleen cells from immunized BALB/c mice were fused with cells of the NS1/Ag4.1 myeloma cell line.

Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
