CD289 is expressed preferentially by the spleen, lymph node, bone marrow and peripheral blood leukocytes and recognises viral DNA and unmethylated CpG sequences in bacterial DNA. Unlike other TLRs, TLR9 is dependent upon the adaptor molecule MyD88 for signaling activation.

Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Western Blot: 0.5-1ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
A synthetic peptide corresponding to a 15aa sequence located near the center of human CD289.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, 0.02% sodium azide.
Purity
Purified by affinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human CD289. Species Crossreactivity: mouse and rat.
