Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunoelectrophoresis and Single and Double Radial Immunodiffusion. Other applications not tested.

Immunoelectrophoresis: 2ml plasma or equivalent against 120ml antiserum Double Radial Immunodiffusion: Use a rosette arrangement with 10ml antiserum in 3mm diameter center well and 2ml plasma samples (neat and serially diluted) in 2mm diameter peripheral wells. Single Radial Immunodiffusion: 1% in the gel. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Purified transferrin isolated from pooled swine serum.

Supplied as a lyophilized powder in PBS, pH 7.2. Preservative free. Reconstitute with 1ml sterile dH2O.
