TNF alpha is a 17kD cytokine produced by monocytes, macrophages, neutrophils, NK cells and CD4+ T cells. TNF alpha forms dimers and trimers, and is also found as a 26KD integral membrane protein. Mouse TNF alpha has cytolytic activity against many tumor cell lines, and has an important immuno-regulatory role.

Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry and Functional Assays. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
ELISA: ≤2ug/ml Immunohistochemistry (frozen): see references 13-19 Flow Cytometry: see references 6-12 Neutralization: see references 1 and 22-24 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
