Western Blot: 1:1000 Immunoprecipitation: Precipitated ubiquitin-containing proteins from HeLa cell lysates. Immunohistochemistry: Ubiquitin (Lsy63 specific) staining of colorectal cancer tissue sections is restricted to tumor cells. Requires HIER using sodium citrate buffer pH6.0 Immunocytochemistry: Ubiquitin (Lsy63 specific) staining of colorectal cancer tissue sections is restricted to tumor cells. Positive staining was also detected in mouse, rat and rabbit brain sections. Inhibition: Preincubation of U1000-06Q with K63- multiubiquitin chains inhibited binding to HeLa cell lysate in Western Blots. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

Supplied as a liquid in 0.1M Tris-Glycine, pH 7.4, 150mM sodium chloride, 0.05% sodium azide.

Purified by Protein A affinity chromatography.

Recognizes human ubiquitin linked at Lys63. Does not recognize ubiquitin linked at Lys48 or free ubiquitin. Species Crossreactivity: mouse, rabbit, rat. Broad species cross-reactivity is expected based on sequence homology.
