Vimentin is a member of the intermediate filament protein family. Intermediate filaments are an important structural feature of eukaryotic cells. They, along with microtubules and actin microfilaments, make up the cytoskeleton. Although most intermediate filaments form stable structures, in fibroblasts, vimentin exists as a dynamic structure.
Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions
ELISA: 0.05-0.2ug/ml Western Blot: 0.5-1ug/ml Immunohistochemistry: 5-10ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
