Atg4D is a member of the Atg4 family of C54 endopeptidases that are required for the synthesis of autophagosomes. Atg4D is found to be cleaved by caspase-3 into a more active form where it can interact with the autophagosome marker Atg8. Atg4D is also known to be associated with mitochondrial dysfunction and the induction of apoptosis.

Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Western Blot: 1ug/ml Immunohistochemistry: 1:200 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
