The Integrin Beta1 subunit, also known as VLA-Beta chain and CD29, associates with at least ten different Integrin alpha subunits.
Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot, Flow Cytometry, Immunocytochemistry and ELISA. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Western Blot: 1ug/ml using recombinant human Integrin beta 1/CD29 under non-reducing conditions only Flow Cytometry: 0.2mg/ml 10ul labels 1-2.5x 10e5 cells in ≤200ul. Immunocytochemistry: 10ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Immunogen
Recombinant protein corresponding to Gln21-Asp728 (predicted) of human Integrin Beta-1 expressed in CHO cells (P05556).
Form
Supplied as a lyophilized powder from a 0.2um filtered solution in PBS, 5% trehalose. Reconstitute with 1ml sterile, ddH2O or sterile 40-50% glycerol.
Purity
Purified by Protein G affinity chromatography.
