2-Chloro-a-[[(1,1-dimethylethyl)amino]methyl]benzenemethanol; (+/-)-Tulobuterol; HN 078; o-Chloro-α-[(tert-butylamino)methyl]benzyl Alcohol
2-Chloro-a-[(1,1-dimethylethyl)amino]methyl]benzenemethanol is a drug that belongs to the class of pyrazole derivatives. It has a strong matrix effect and increases the production of eosinophil cationic protein by inhibiting the enzyme eosinophil peroxidase. This medicine is used for the treatment of infectious diseases such as tulobuterol. 2-Chloro-a-[(1,1-dimethylethyl)amino]methyl]benzenemethanol is metabolized in the liver by cytochrome P450 enzymes and excreted through urine or bile. It also inhibits various metabolic disorders, including bowel disease and autoimmune diseases.
